Abstract:
Tracking spatially resolved star formation in galaxies offer critical insights into their structural evolution and how galaxy formed and quenched. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) not only facilitates a systematic exploration of high redshift galaxies, but also enables a detailed study of the rest-frame mid-infrared (mid-IR) and the optical emission lines of galaxies at cosmic noon. These observations provide valuable information on the overall star formation processes. In this talk, I will present two studies using JWST data: the mid-IR morphologies for 70 star-forming galaxies at 0.2
