Abstract:
The third data release of Gaia mission (Gaia DR3) have greatly promoted the development of many research fields in astronomy. For the study of interstellar medium, we built a machine-learning model, called CIDRE, to predict the intrinsic colors of stars with their stellar atmospheric parameters. The model is trained with Gaia-DR3 GSP-phot parameters and multi-band photometry. CIDRE can be easily applied for both new spectroscopic survey data and specifically designed observations. On the other hand, as a part of Gaia DPCC program, we measured the diffuse interstellar bands (DIB) at 862.1 nm in Gaia RVS spectra. In this talk, I will briefly introduce the main results of DIB measurements in Gaia DR3 and FPR.
