Cosmic Transients: From (Gamma-ray) Bursts to (Fast Radio) Bursts

Abstract:

Gamma-ray bursts are gamma-ray spikes of seconds in the sky, originating from the massive star collapse or the double compact stars merger. Fast radio bursts are short (duration of several milliseconds) radio bursts remaining mysterious. Here, I will introduce recent developments in these two intriguing fields. Also, I would present our works and plans on these topics.
