Introduction to THIS project

Abstract:

The Transient Hunting and Identifying System (THIS) contains four parts: observational design system, multi-search system, intelligent identifying system and a database. “THIS” project is focused on radio signals and also includes their optical follow-up observation. We have compared different well-known search software and are developing a new algorithm to search for FRBs with complicated structure. An AI-based tool is used to identify millions of candidate and the required further observation would be designed automatically. A database would record the raw datasets segments containing the signals, the results generated by different search methods and all the details of the process.
