Abstract:
The scale of Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) is an important probe for studying dark energy. Since the first detection of BAO from the galaxy surveys SDSS and 2dFGRS in 2005, the statistic errors of the BAO scale measurement have been continuously shrunk down, thanks to larger sample size and survey volume. To constrain cosmological parameters precisely, studying the theoretical systematics becomes more vital for the upcoming and future BAO surveys. In this talk, I will review some background of BAO. I will show our recent study on the theoretical systematics. Furthermore, I will briefly discuss the possibility of BAO detection from weak lensing, the current detection of BAO phase shift due to cosmic neutrinos, as well as the forecast of BAO measurement from Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) Survey.
