Abstract:The study of the light variability of stars brings key insights into the physics at play in their interior. Stars lying in the upper main sequence, typically with masses between 1.5 and 20 solar masses, display various types of variability, periodic as well as non-periodic. I will present an overview of the variability in these stars, and focus on recent discoveries led by the observation of open clusters.
